Neck
We wrote the work on straight, light-playing necks. Our innovative T-Fastening™ neck union brings Taylor’s trademark degree of density and comfort into the charged with electricity player’s hands.
The Taylor NT neck in 1999 added another greater breakthrough in neck brew that remains a benchmark for setting an unerring neck difference of direction. It would go on to inspire the sole-bolt T-Fastening™neck brew used on the T5, and now being applied to the impenetrable body. Cognate the NT neck, The T-Fastening employs a neck union and a precisely milled pouch spacer to sun-dial-in the perfect neck opening. As the neck missile is tightened in square, it pulls the neck both down and back toward the build a bridge over for perfect alignment and permanence. It’s uncompounded to put on or take off to switch out spacers for difference of direction adjustment. And once in area, the fit is perfect, allowing no side motion.
Position 1 is where you’ll find the most acoustic-similar tones. This is a vast position for solos and a useful place to assay with the tone controls. Locality 3 will go from “spanky” and unspotted, all the way to “full-tent crunch.” In situation 4 you might find it reminiscent of a ’50s hollowbody with a small scoop. Situation 5 creates a full and burnished sound that’s vast for thick lead tones.
