I have always loved Brian Setzers playing ,sound and kick ass pose. No one can make a Gretsch guitar vibrate through a Fender amp quite the the way Brian does. His mere rig reminds me of the necromancy combination some guitars and amps have that lawful screams…this is not crooked! The 1963 6G6-B Fender Bassman amp is a moderately cold transitional Fender Bassman prototype that sports a non cathode pursuer setup with an supplementary gain platform that is unlike any other Fender amp preceding or aft..it actually has more in for the use of all with vinatge “Marshall” sound than it does with chef d'oeuvre “Fender” note…it has a unctuous nasty unimpaired when driven that matches the rockabilly lifestyle and posture to a “T”. Add a super moderately cold Roland Extent Echo tape postpone/reverb unit in front and you have one kick ass sound Daddy O!
